Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically records technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer and browser type. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after [number] days. Hosting provider: [name, country].
Cookies
The public pages set no cookies. Only when you sign in to the web app are two technically necessary cookies set: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a security cookie that protects forms against misuse (CSRF). Both are deleted when you sign out or close the browser. There is no analytics or tracking, and no content is loaded from third parties. The language is part of the web address (/en, /de).
MES.Plot web app
Tables you open in the web app are sent to this server, processed in memory only and never written to disk. They are deleted when you sign out, open another file, or after 60 minutes without use, and they are not accessible to anyone else. Exported figures are created in your browser. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
